About the Event
This monthly series will take place on the first Sunday of each month, starting July 7th at 1pm. Rissa will guide practitioners through the basics of yoga, guiding through functional movement and therapeutic vision, building upon each series to allow practitioners to advance through their practice safely and consciously. We will break down sun salutations, use of props, and appropriate modifications so that each practicioner gains a solid foundation for their yoga practice. If you've never been in a yoga class or have only attended a few classes, we will break down yoga jargon and modifications that can be taken throughout the practice so that you walk into your next class feeling confident! Experienced yoga practitioners will re-establish a solid foundation of their practice, learning from new cues and defined attention to engagement and alignment, leaving the workshop feeling refreshed and rooted.
